Store medicines safely at home
Heat, moisture, children and accidental mix-ups can all affect medicine safety.
Keep medicines in their original labelled containers unless a pharmacist has advised an appropriate organiser. Follow the storage instructions on the label, keep medicines away from children, and avoid sharing prescription medicines.
Check expiry dates periodically and ask your pharmacy about safe disposal options for unwanted or expired medicines.
